Canyoning in Val d'Angouire, Alpes de Haute Provence

Despite its name (The Valley of Anguish), Val d'Angouire is a spectacular canyon.

It’s one of the most beautiful canyons around, located at the end of the Verdon gorges in Moustiers-Sainte-Marie.

It all starts in the parking lot of Moustiers, where we leave for a one hour hike, taking the Roman road that leads us up to the plateau.

In the parking lot (our starting point), we will get changed into the equipment provided and get you ready for your canyoning adventure !! After a safety information talk, you'll set off on foot, and after a 1 hour walk on the old Roman road that takes us on the plateau, it is time for the serious adventure and excitement to begin.

We will spend 3 hours in the canyon, enjoying the jumps, slides, abseils, and elmerald pools. The goelogical formation is breathtaking, it’s a delight for the eyes ! The playful water will make you forget all about the approach.

Then we will walk 35 minutes back to the parking lot.

Due to the dry nature of this canyon, it must be done as early as possible in the season (May to mid-July).
